🛠️ Bitbucket Email Invitation Not Received? Here’s the Fix!

Recently, I faced an issue where a team member was not receiving an email invitation from Bitbucket Cloud. After a bit of troubleshooting and reaching out to Atlassian Support, I received a helpful and detailed response from , a Bitbucket Cloud Engineer.

❓ The Problem

I invited a user to our Bitbucket workspace, but they never received the invitation email.

After contacting Atlassian Support, we found out that the user was unsubscribed from receiving Bitbucket product invitation emails. As a result, even though the invitation was sent, it never landed in their inbox.

Step-by-step: Re-enable Bitbucket Product Invitations

  1. Ask the user (who didn’t receive the invite) to log into:

  2. Visit the email preference page:

  3. Click on “Email preference centre”
  4. Under “Product Surveys and Invitations,” enable “Product invitations”
